I am so excited to announce that my dear friend Gina Moon and her business partner, Julie Arbogast, are moving their Tots program to Maren Conrad’s Art Studio! Both Julie and Gina are credentialed teachers that offer a hands on academic program for ages 18 months to 4 years old. We will be hiding ART ROCKS! around Midtown, Sierra Oaks, Carmichael, and East Sacramento. Keep a look out for our “random acts of art.” This will be a really fun interactive scavenger hunt. I will post locations that the rocks are hidden on my blog and Maren Conrad’s Art Studio Facebook page. Please post back if you have retrieved it. We just finished hanging our first art show! The Starbucks on 38th & J Streets is featuring our artwork from February’s African Mask unit. The art looks amazing. Our sculptor’s did a phenomenal job! The show has been so well received, that today the manager approached us about featuring art there monthly. We will have art hanging at that location now 24 – 7!!!! Please go check it out! Thank you to all the families who came and painted clouds today in our new space. I love having so many creative hand’s marks on our studio walls. It truly feels like we are establishing our art community. You guys are the best!
